The first shot is NOT a long shot! You need to change this or you sound very silly!
Your stills are analysed well but I'm not sure you cover all of the really key conventions of horror. I think you should add some text directly to the blog post which attempts to answer the question, using more of the really important conventions which are described on the big A3 horror genre sheet.
Also you need to consider trailer conventions as well. At present this is about a C grade but with these additions you could bring it up considerably.
